Tell the junk-mailers...

“Stop my junk mail!”

"Too much of a good thing is simply too much!"

In an earlier time it was fun. Getting the big store catalogs was a thrill, and you'd keep them for months until the next season...

"If I want it, it's advertising.
If I don't, it's junk!"

...but now it's too much! It's a gushing faucet of junk mail that you can't turn off. Every day brings sale flyers, catalogs, brochures, promotions, leaflets, subscription offers, coupons and more.

Sometimes it's annoying and wasteful: You bought one item, once, and you've been getting four (or six! or eight!!) catalogs a year ever since. A roommate moves out, but his junk mail keeps pouring in. You wrote to ask to get off of a list, and now, instead, you're getting two copies of everything. Maybe you just want them to spell your name correctly!

Sometimes it's much worse: You've been divorced for years and your ex's junk mail greets you every day. You've lost a loved one and their catalogs and magazine offers just won't stop. A recent news article described a couple whose baby was stillborn, and yet the advertisements and samples and marketing offers kept arriving, breaking their hearts all over again.

"The junk mail industry simply does not care."
